Poco - Quarter Horse
The pictures in this section belie much of the trouble inside the hoof capsules. At least the feet have been trimmed to keep the toes short and the heels down to a decent level. Unfortunately, many foundered horses do not get the same courtesy.

After the first trim, Poco is able to stand squarely on her own. She is still obviously uncomfortable. As of these pictures, she had not had any massage, touch therapy, chiropractics or acupuncture; only the initial trim.
