After a year of trimming, the feet are getting more concavity, less toe callous, better frogs and better hoof shape. Damaged lamina and wall is still growing out, but it coming along nicely. | |

The feet are looking better and better. The white line is thinning up nicely, the concavity of the feet is becoming better and more apparent. The shape and direction of growth is doing better with time. | |

Poco’s case is still ongoing. There will be more changes and developments throughout the upcoming year. She has more healing to go and more rehabilitation to go through. At this point though, it seems pretty evident that, short of some unforeseen problem, Poco will be doing a lot of trail riding in 2006, and for years beyond. There is a beauty, intelligence and quality to Poco that makes her a truly unique horse! After all, she IS a Quarter Horse! 😉 |
