Hi Emily.

Sorry I didn't get right back to you, I'm still getting use to the new blog style web site.

Do you have x-rays of your guy's feet? If so, I would love to take a look at them. If not, a few pictures of the feet would be useful as well.
In my experience, I have run across only three true navicular horses, all the rest, and there have been hundreds, have been lame due to improper trimming and balancing.

I happen to have another web site that has videos, one of which talks a little about how to trim for the navicular horse. The web site is www.pbhtrim.com. Unfortunately, the videos are in a members only area. The good thing is, it's only $9.50 for a years membership. That said, if you want, you can join up and I'll refund your money if you don't find the videos to be of any help. The videos go over trimming, classroom information and such.

Go take a look at the web site, let me know if they are of help and let me know if you need further help with your horse. I'll be happy to do what I can to help.

Thanks for writing, Emily. Again, I apologize for taking so long to get back to you.

So in your article you are saying that with proper trimming it can reduce the affects of navcular pain and they can be pain free, my horse has low heals and hes been lame lately with no diagnosis and im begining to think my horse may have navicular problems and im so worried, i want him to be happy and healthy again and every article i read said injection, surgery, and nerve removal. I dont wanna do that stuff to him, and i dont wanna put him down either, hes my first horse and hes the best guy ever, i love him. I just hope the trimming works, thankyou
